About Us

Sanctuary Sounds is run by Thelma Metcalfe and Mike Spiers and a dedicated band of helpers and volunteers.

We've been running the festivals for the last 4 years and it has been a fantastic opportunity to showcase local musical talent and to provide a chilled out scene for people to hang out in the country and enjoy the day's and evening's entertainment.

Because the festival is small by most standards (up to 300 people) the sense of being a part of it is strong and that reflects in the easy going atmosphere that always accompanies the event

We try to keep the prices of the tickets, bar and cafe down as we're non commercial. We do everything ourselves with the help of a few local businesses who have supported us from the beginning. We'd like to thank them here:
