Op Shop Fashion Parade 2011

Op Shop Fashion ParadeFollowing the success of the first Op Shop Fashion Parade in 2009 Sanctuary Sounds will be holding the 2nd Op Shop Fashion Parade on the 5th of March, 2011.  The show starts at 4:00pm.

Anybody is welcome to enter a design or collection and awards will be given out for the best designed outfit and best collection.  There are a number of different categories so if you are interested, please contact us for more information.  All entries are welcome but must be put together from secondhand clothes / items.  Zany, quirky and off the wall ideas are good! Some outfits will be auctioned after the parade and others will be for sale in the on site Op Shop.

Op Shop Fashion ParadeDetour, RD7 and Fondue Party have all been confirmed to play at the parade.

Categories for the Fashion Parade are

  • Kidswear
  • Daywear
  • Art section
  • Evening wear
  • X dressing.

We need more models so if you fancy strutting your stuff on the catwalk, contact us - all shapes and sizes are welcome.

Entries must be confirmed by 2nd March.  (An entry form is available here.) There will be a rehearsal on the 4th of March for those that want it.  Remember that all entries must be created from secondhand clothes.  If you are having difficulty sourcing opshop clothes, we can probably help out there so feel free to contact us should you need to.
