Gates open at NOON on Friday for you to begin establishing your weekend campsite!

We welcome you to make yourself at home. Spread out a bit and remember to respect your neighbours. Check out the map so you know where to go.

There is currently a Ford that you need to cross to get to the top paddock for camping.

Please don’t attempt this if your car is low to the ground.

Costumes, themed camp sites, and exuberant fun is highly encouraged!

What To Bring

All of your BEST mates!  Kids under 14 are FREE (if accompanied by a paying
adult) so why not introduce them to some groovy music and amazing people!

Your choice of camp site - there is enough space for everyone including large buses, campers,
tents, cars, etc.

Rubbish bags! This is a ZERO WASTE event. Please bring what you need and take away what you
bring (this includes recycling from the camp area).

Torches - It is dark in the country!

A supply of WATER! Plus anything else you might need to camp comfortably for the weekend.

Sun protection and insect repellent! We’ll have some sun screen for you at the info centre, but
try and remember to bring a hat. There is nothing worse than going back to work on Monday . . .
Tuesday or Wednesday if you are lucky . . . . . looking like a crayfish!

CASH - Eftpos is available but limited

When you get cash out from Eftpos, you will receive Sanctuary Sounds Dollars

Having Sanctuary Sounds dollars on site lessens the amount of cash everyone has to carry and helps with cash-outs by eftpos at the Info centre.

SS Dollars are legal tender around the Sanctuary festival site.

Most vendors and stall holders will accept SS Dollars.

If you have SS dollars left at the end of the festival you may cash them in at the Info
centre.

What to Expect

Culture

Sanctuary Sounds is an inclusive gathering of friends that share a love of music and community.

We love to party!

With your help, we create a party like no other, fuelled by kindness, generosity, and good ol'fashion fun!

Theme

We are known for our yearly theme that helps set the scene and gives us all the opportunity to party in costume.  We encourage everyone to come with at least one costume and also have fun at your campsite by decorating your space and immersing yourself in the weekend!

Camping

We have enough camping space for everyone!  Large buses, trucks and campers are stationed at the front paddock.  Cars and tents are in the back paddock.  You are welcome to keep your car with you or park it and use a tent only space.

Zero Waste

We are proud of the land we inhabit and want to care for it as much as we do each other.  Please bring what you need and take away what you bring.

Kids

Don't hesitate to bring the kiddies along!  They will love the relaxed vibe and freedom to explore the land.  Kids 14 and younger are FREE!

Food

There is plenty of food available from multiple food trucks.  Always something for everyone!  Feel free to bring extra bits and pieces for your campsite, but please patron the food trucks that help make our community.

Stalls

Need a break from front of stage, take a wander to the stall area.  You'll find artists, tarot readers, massage therapists and heaps more!

No BYO

We endeavour to keep our bar prices as affordable as possible.  You won't find the usual festival prices here, just mate rates!

Please do not bring

your own booze into

the festival area.
